Scope and Content

This volume contains the complete poems of Azmizade Mustafa Haleti (died 1040 AH/1630-31 CE). After a brief introduction, the work begins with kasideler, which end on f 43v. Some of the names of persons in whose honour the kasideler have been written have been obliterated with gold paint. The gazeller begin on f 44v and conclude with a chronogram on f 115r. The Divan ends with rubaiyat (ff 115v-134r), matali (ff 134v-139r), kıt'alar (ff 139v-141r) and tevarih (ff 141v-143r). The text contains several blank spaces for unvans, which were evidently never painted. The manuscript was likely copied in the 17th or 18th century CE, although the folios 1-12, 19, and 84-143 have all been restored in a later hand.
