Correspondence, minutes of meetings and reports concerning a variety of suggestions and complaints made involving London Transport. Subjects include ticket boxes on vehicles, bus stopping places and routes, seats for the disabled, the spread of the industrial electricity load, congestion, fares, standing passengers, coach tour itineraries, the renaming of stations, road services, the air condition in the Underground, the use of public transport services by German prisoners of war, transport facilities for the House of Commons, public relations in relation to passenger transport, town planning, staff conditions on the Underground and information booths. Also includes correspondence concerning other transport organisations abroad, an airshow at Gatwick Airport and a leaflet concerning the 40th anniverary of the London Tramway Subway in 1948.
