Concerns: hunting in the countryside in Ireland with Mr Jocelyn; a description of Waterford and his business there; dealing with a French ship name "Le Brilliant" which had landed in Waterford with provisions of coffee, sugar and indigo from "St Domingo" [Saint-Domingue] heading to Bordeaux, but running low on provisions for the crew; people on board counted as "28 hands, 2 French, and three Portuguese passangers".
