Concerns his suggestion that he should ask the King to allow him to resign from his post and thereby the Council, and asking Cumberland's advice on this; his hurt feelings that Lord Egremont and the ministers persuaded the King to send such a summons in the first place; his approval of Prince William's advice to the King about the peace negotiations.
