Concerns a letter from Archbishop [of York about his brother's resignation in support of the 4th Duke] an abstract of which he sends and requests is burnt after reading: "I rejoice much at this intelligence. There is something awful in this slow firing - and perhaps may make more impression than a hurry of fire and sudden passion". Written from Wentworth. Signed: "Rockingham".
