Concerns the scarcity of corn, barley and meal which caused a riot at Tweedmouth near Berwick in which one man was wounded; a description of the riot; a request for soldiers to guard the delivery of supplies from attacks by rioters. Written from Berwick. Signed by the Justices of the town and county Samuel Burn (major), Henry Collingwood, F Plow, William Temple, William Balderston and J. Romer.
