Whereas a marriage is to take place between Samuell Reynardson of London and Mary Howland daughter of Jeffery Howland of Streatham, Surrey; Jeffery Howland agrees to pay a certain sum as marriage portion to Samuell Reynardson; also a certain sum on the birth of a son, to be divided if the eldest child be a daughter, the second half being paid on the birth of the second child; Samuell Reynardson agrees with Jeffery Howland, John Langley of London and Samuell Howland of Streatham that by a certain date he will purchase a freehold estate to the use of John Langley and Samuell Howland during the life of Samuell Reynardson in trust for the latter, and after his death to his wife Mary, and after their death to their issue.
