Note

The JRSST Charitable Trust was created on 1 December 1955 by the Joseph Rowntree Reform Trust (then the Joseph Rowntree Social Service Trust). It is a registered charity which makes grants or sponsors research which supports the development of a democratic and socially just society in the UK. The JRSST Charitable Trust is funded through an annual covenanted grant by the JRRT, whose directors are also its trustees, and shares the JRRT offices at The Garden House, York.
