Scope and Content

Correspondence, dated 1913-1914, largely addressed to J. T. Evans, and mostly relating to his work on church plate and other church antiquities, with some letters of a more personal nature. Correspondents include: the Rev. George Lewis (Gloucester), R. E. Sparkes (Builth Wells), H. B. Walters (British Museum), and A. W. Wade-Evans (France Lynch, Gloucs). A bill of sale, dated 25 May 1809, for the 'Trafalgar', a ship of Jamaica. Two rubbings taken from the mediaeval bell of Ciliau Aeron, co. Card., and from the Renaissance bell of Llangybi, co.
