Scope and Content

Miscellaneous correspondence, dated 1901-1911 (mostly 1911) to J. T. Evans, consisting of personal letters relating to his work on church plate and other antiquarian matters, and several letters addressed to J. T. Evans in his capacity as a clergyman. Correspondents include Rev. George Lewis; H. B. Walters, British Museum. Printed articles include: (i) An introductory membership form for the Historical Society of West Wales (1911); (ii) An address given by the Rev. George Lewis on his retirement as Rector of Icomb Church, Stow-on-the-Wold, (Sept. 1911); (iii) An article on North-West Pembrokeshire taken from a tour journal, 1875; (iv) A typescript copy of some extracts relating to Wales from Jackson's Oxford Journal. 90 Pp.
