Documents: Hugh Rowlands Bodfeddan, pa. Ceirchiog, son of hugh and Catherine Rowlands.

He died in Bangor in 1886, aged 71.

Bodfeddan was one of several farms in Anglesey and Caernarfonshire which was purchased by David Hughes in the early part of the 17th century in order to provide a permanent endowment to his charity. The properties were taken over by the County Authorities in 1895.
