Bampton East Highway Board was formed in 1864 to takeover the responsibility of maintaining the highways from the parish vestry. It was abolished in 1894 when the newly formed Witney Rural District Council (RDC12) took over this responsibility.

Aston and Cote, Bampton, Brighthampton, Chimney, Cogges, Crawley, Curbridge, Ducklington, Eynsham, Hailey, Hanborough, Hardwick, Lew, Minster Lovell, North Leigh, Northmoor, Ramsden, Shifford, South Leigh, Standlake, Stanton Harcourt, Weald, Wilcot and Yelford.
