Scope and Content

An album, with printed title page, containing matt black and white prints, mounted back to back without borders, measuring 347 x 274 mm, and showing scenes in Sydney and around the countryside of New South Wales. Prints either captioned on negative or with captions stuck on. A letter from the Agent-General for New South Wales stuck into the front of the album states 'Forwarded for the acceptance of Sir C. Prestwood Lucas, K.C.B., Assistant Under Secretary of State for the Colonies, by Mr. T.A. Coghlan, Agent-General for New South Wales in the name and on behalf of the Hon. Sir J.H. Carruthers, K.C.M.G., Executive Commissioner for New South Wales to the Franco-British Exhibition, 1908'. Photographer, or photographers, unknown.
