Acceptance speech for the 'Sol de Oro' award

Ts drafts of Graves's acceptance speech for the award of a 'Sol de Oro' from the 'Iberian Daily Sun', and press cuttings of the ceremony, held in Madrid on 7 [?] April 1973. The awards were given in recognition of figures who had best promoted Spain's image abroad. It is unclear whether Graves gave this speech as the 'Majorca Daily Bulletin' (10 April 1973) reported that "he had meant to make a longer speech, but that he had forgotten the notes he had prepared". The speech talks about Deyá, tourism and Graves's attachment to Spain.
