The Rhymney Valley Campaign Against the Poll Tax, set up in 1990, was part of the Campaign Against the Poll Tax, (CAPT) which was established to put pressure on the Conservative government against the implementation of the community charge or poll tax. It existed until 1991.

Arranged as follows: papers relating to B. M. Smith's non-payment; agenda and minutes of meetings; correspondence; copy of the petition; press cuttings; leaflets and posters; anti-poll tax songs; script for a video; bills and receipts.
