One box containing biographical materials relating to William Hammond (1719-1783), one of the best-known of Moravian hymn writers, including:
- No. 13, 5 folios: an extract from Ockbrook Congregation Diary concerning his visit in March 1758;
- No. 25, 8 folios: an English translation of the Narrative of the Life of Br. William Hammond, written by himself in Greek;
- No. 27-32: copies of six of Hammond's letters (1740-1746); among them are two to James Hutton, one to Zinzendorf and to John Cennick.
