Administrative / Biographical History

The correspondence relates to William Edward Parry and the British Naval Northwest Passage Expedition, 1821-1823. Liddon had sailed with Parry on his earlier Northwest Passage expedition, 1819-1820. The papers include an obituary and genealogical notes on the Liddon family.
