Manuscript item bound in a volume of printed pamphlets.

The work is addressed 'To Mr. Anthony Bacon'. First line of text reads: 'He that ether thincks he hath or..'. Text ends: 'But till then I saye Fustum ijs Bellum quibus necessarium, et pia arma. quibus nulla nisi in Armis spes est'. At the end is written: 'Finis. Remember how Bernardyne Mendozza spent his tyme while he was in Englande'.

In the manuscript index at the end of the volume this item is listed as:'Ea. of Essix apologi [sic!]. manuscript. 1600. fo.47'.
