Miscellaneous Items: Howard family of Haulfre Cottage Llangoed.

Includes: Photographs, newspaper cuttings, letters, postcards a memorial scroll, diaries, christmas cards, books and booklets.

Haulfre was the residence of the Chadwick family until 1960 when it was bequeathed to the Council, with the provision that the house become a home and with proviso for the maintenance of the clock tower. The stables were open to the public, along with the adjacent gardens which were steadily restocked; the stables and tack room were restored.
