Letter from A. K. Chapman, Eastman Kodak Company, dated 25 February 1930, to W. G. Bent, regarding a new range of Box Brownie cameras. Chapman discussed the cost of production of a new range of coloured Brownie cameras. He states: 'In one camera line, namely the Pocket Kodak Junior…we have sold more cameras of any one of the colors than we have of black. In some of the colors we have sold more than twice as many cameras as we have in black. It is for this reason that we are thinking of putting out the new Brownies in colors only, and not in black'. Subject(s): Products; Cameras; Brownies.
