Administrative / Biographical History

Ken Hawker, together with his wife, were founding members of the British Association of Social Workers, and he worked in Birmingham Social Services in 1970. He may also have been involved in editing 'Treaclestick'. He was briefly assistant general secretary of BASW in the early 1990s.
