The British School was built on New Street in 1854 and subsequently renamed Chipping Norton Council School and Chipping Norton Infants' School. Please see CC4/50 for other records of this school.
The records were deposited as Acc 2005 in March 1982, Acc 2028 in May 1982, Acc 4981 in April 2001 and Acc 7056 in April 2023. Other records were transferred from the Oxfordshire Education Department to the Oxfordshire History Centre.
