These documents were deposited in April 1983 and assigned accessionnumber 2194. The transcript of the diary is accession number 2832.

The diary is unnamed but relates to the preaching of a Methodist minister in the areas of Faringdon, Standlake, Bourton, Northmoor, Clanfield, Langford, Wantage, Littleworth, Frilford, Longworth, Coate, Ardington, Watchfield, Grafton, Bishopstone & other places in the south & west of Oxfordshire (some formerly in Berkshire). The journal was formerly in the possession of the steward of Standlake chapel.
