Scope and Content

Typescript copies of parish registers and of bishops's transcripts of registers made by W.H. Challen between about 1929 and 1958. The copies relate mainly to parishes in London and Sussex, with smaller collections for Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey and Worcestershire, and single items for Kent, Nottinghamshire and Wiltshire.
