Autograph letter, signed, from James L. Halliday to his wife Beryl. Cunard White Star, R.M.S. Queen Elizabeth, 2 p.m. Sat[urday, 15th March 1947].
Got to London at 1.30 a.m. and took taxi to ? House, where slept till 8. Breakfast then boat train. Now had very good lunch. Received her telegram. Encloses letter written last night on train [MS. Gen 1669/718/2].
