Scope and Content

Collection of photographs, including three duplicates, commissioned by McKenzies Limited to illustrate their highway construction work in Bombay, other regions of India and Ceylon.

Administrative / Biographical History

McKenzies Limited were timber merchants, engineers and contractors based at St. Helen's Court, Currimbhoy Bombay. They were active during the 1920s and early 1930s, and were later taken over by the Barber Asphalt Co. of New York.
