Scope and Content

This collection contains examples of some of the material held in York City Archives relating to World War Two, including pamphlets, printed lists and photographs. Other material relating to World War Two also exists elsewhere in the archive. The collection includes a number of items relating to the Baedeker Raid on York in April 1942.
