Blackmore Manufacturers

The collection contains a memoranda book covering the years 1783 to 1785, with additions and annotations. The contents include notes of orders, bills, advertisements, names of customers, tables showing different qualities of worsteds and a 'black list' of employees.

Blackmore was a bolting cloth manufacturing business situated in Wandsworth, Surrey. No further information was discovered at the time of compilation.

Access to the items in the collection is unrestricted for the purpose of private study and personal research within the controlled environment and restrictions of the Library's Palaeography Room.
