Letters, 1823-1895, many of them addressed to William Davies, Scoveston, M.P. for the county of Pembroke, or to solicitors associated with him, from residents in the United States of America, Canada, India, Australia, New Zealand, and the continent of Europe. Among the British correspondents are Henry Richard, Henry Fawcett, J. R. Kilsby Jones, and numerous Baptist ministers. A few letters refer to the 'Rebecca Riots' and to turnpike disputes in Pembrokeshire.
