Administrative / Biographical History
Thomas and Margaret Jones, Caepant, Llandderfel, Merionethshire, married in 1853. In 1893, their son, Thomas Francis Jones, of Branas Lodge, Llandrillo, Merionethshire, married Catherine Edwards, daughter of John and Mary Edwards of Brynderw, Llawrbetws, Llandderfel. Their second son was F. Wynn Jones (1898-1970), a statistician, who wrote Godre'r Berwyn (Cardiff, 1952), a portrayal of his childhood home in Edeirnion.
