M C Davies; papers and correspondence dealing with conditions of appointment and career as a teacher in the Southern Rhodesian and Central African Federation's Public Services.

The correspondence is with the Federal Ministry of Education and concerns Mrs Davies' husband's refusal to teach in an African school, and his claim to a pension on his subsequent resignation.

The Central African Federation was established in 1953 from the British colony of Southern Rhodesia and the protectorates of Northern Rhodesia and Nyasaland. It was dissolved in 1963.
