Alfred Jones, M.A., F.S.A., London, relating to the formation and development of Volunteer Companies in Wales during the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries, including Caernarvon and Bangor Volunteer Infantry, Loyal Newborough Volunteer Infantry, Snowdon Rangers Riflemen Volunteer Infantry, Conway Volunteers, Loyal Eifionydd Volunteer Infantry, Royal Welch Volunteers, Swansea Gentlemen Volunteer Yeomanry Cavalry, Pembrokeshire Yeomanry Cavalry, etc. (see also NLW MS 11557D).
