Administrative / Biographical History

The material in the Small Societies archive was collected by Stephen Jarvis during the early- to mid-1990s. The items were used as primary evidence in the author's preparation to write two books: 'The Bizarre Leisure Book' (1993) and 'The Ultimate Guide to Unusual Leisure' (1998).
