Administrative / Biographical History

Nathaniel R. Griffith (fl. 1863, d. [1903]) of Westminster Chambers, Wrexham, Flintshire, and Plasnewydd, Ruabon, Denbighshire, was a mining engineer. He acted as consulting engineer for many colliery companies in Wales and England, and also in France. He attended the Royal School of Mines, 1863-1866, and was made an Associate; and was made a Fellow of the Geological Society in 1873. His death was reported in 1903.
