Papers of the late Mr. Cadwaladr Davies, Menai Bridge

For many years one of the leading men of the Urban Council, a prominent figure in Friendly Society Circles, and a diligent builder - up of a very substantial private library. 4906 was written up by his daughter Miss Jane Davies, a sometime student at theis college, B.A., 1901, later M.A., and Assistant Mistress at the Towyn and Ffestiniog County Schools; after 1912 she retired from teaching work, and for some time was herself a member of the Menai Bridge Council, being returned at the head of the poll in 1925 (see 4905 (55)0. Mr Cadwaladr Davies died in 1916 and his daughter Miss Jane Davies died in February 1943.
