Scope and Content

Nine numbered ink outline drawings of various injuries to the Gasserian ganglion. Annotations on the back read "Jefferson Schorstein Fig 12" and "BJS 012 Reduce 2:1".

This image features as figure 705 in the publication G. Jefferson & J. Schorstein, 'Injuries of the trigeminal nerve, its ganglion and its division', British Journal of Surgery, 1955, in which it is described as follows: "Diagram of estimated extent of ganglion injury in blunt head injuries reported here. Motor branch black when injured. Numbers refer to cases in text".
