The church of St. Andrew, Oxford, is in North Oxford, on Linton Road. The parish which it serves is one of the newest in Oxford, having been created in 1905 out of parts of the parishes of Summertown and Oxford St. Philip and St. James. The church itself was built in 1906-1907 to the designs of A.R.G. Fenning, after an initial idea to re-erect the chapel of St. George from the parish of St. Mary Magdalen (for which see PAR208) was rejected.
The parish records of Oxford St. Andrew were deposited with Oxfordshire Archives in July 1990 as Accession Number 3117. An appendix provides a concordance for old and new reference numbers.
