Twelve different publications bound together, separated into four volumes depending on instrument.

Each publication is inscribed "Geo. Calkin 3 Evershot St., Oakley Square, Nov. 17 /52" This is George Calkin, composer, of the Calkin family of musicians.

Inside of each cover board is inscribed in MS with an index listing the pieces included. These are

  • Romberg Opus 5, No. 4
  • Romberg Opus 30, No. 5

The volumes are

  • 1st Violin
  • 2nd Violin
  • Viola
  • Violoncello

The 1st Violin volume has Nos. 10, 11 and 12's title pages printed with the stamped signature of Ignaz Pleyel. Those pieces were printed 'A Paris, chez Ice Pleyel & Fils aine Boulevard Montmatre".
