Photograph Album (1946-1948)

In addition to the many photographs, this album also contains a newspaper page dated 5 August 1944 and is titled The Co-operators' Castle. In the report a photograph shows a number of young members sitting and listening to a T. S. Eliot poetry reading in the grounds of the fifteenth century style castle. The photograph has an accomanying article giving an explanation to the Co-operative movement.
