For the EDCSW Jennifer Beresford organised a series of courses designed to build confidence in women who were involved in Church activities, to encourage them to stand for office and participate more fully in committee work.
The file contains documents by her explaining the need for such training, and the benefits that it would bring. There is a proposal for a book on the subject, provisionally entitled 'Creating Confidence', together with a flyer from SPCK, announcing the publication of 'Creating Confidence in Women' in Mar 1998.
