'Well Done, Little Bear'

One piece of preliminary artwork by Barbara Firth for 'Well Done, Little Bear', written by Martin Waddell (Walker, 1999). The double-page illustration is executed in watercolour and pencil, and is signed by the artist. The illustration shows Little Bear being rescued from the river by Big Bear, and appears to be an early version of the illustration on pages 26-27 of the published book.
