Administrative / Biographical History

Arfryn County Primary School opened its doors for the first time on 9 November 1959 to cover the Central Penlan area of Swansea. It was officially opened by Councillor F.A. Gorst the Chiarman of the Education Committee on 10 March 1960. The school closed its doors for the final time on Wednesday 21 July 2010, with the children being transferred to Clwyd and Grwyrossydd Primary schools.
