Administrative / Biographical History

Rev William Moister (1808-1891) served as a Wesleyan Methodist Missionary Society missionary in The Gambia from 1830 until 1833, their St Vincents District (including British Guiana) from 1834 until 1847, Demerera from 1847 until 1848 and in South Africa from 1850 until 1860.
