  • Joseph Hancock (1822-1913) was born in Cornwall. He worked as a tin miner from the age of thirteen and entered the Bible Christian ministry at the age of twenty-three. After fifteen years work in home circuits, Hancock offered himself for the work in Australia. He served in the Australian Church for the remainder of his ministry.
