York and District Autistic Society

Includes minute book, newspaper cuttings about the activities of the Society and papers regarding a charity gala.

The York and District Autistic Society was formed to bring together professionals in the medical sector and parents of autistic children, with a view to reviewing provision for families. The Society was short-lived, and was later subsumed into the National Autistic Society.
