'The Historical House'

Research material relating to 'The Historical House' series of books written by Adele Geras, Ann Turnbull and Linda Newbery. The file includes research notes on the history of Chelsea; photocopied extracts from various sources on the history of Kensington and Chelsea; a small amount of correspondence from the publisher, Usborne Publishing, with colour prints of early ideas for cover designs; one letter from Ann Turnbull, sent with internal floor plans and external elevations for the house featured in the series; and a colour leaflet publicising the series.
