Administrative / Biographical History
Llanmaes is an ancient parish within the eastern division of the rural deanery of Groneath Lower in the diocese of Llandaff. It is situated 4 miles south of Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan. Its parish church, which is dedicated to St Catwg, was restored in 1857 and the bell tower was restored in 1898.
