Group photograph outside the mission hall

The group includes Elizabeth Jane Meachen (nee Harvey), born Shadwell, 1858 (seated centre right), an ancestor of the owner of the original photograph. She and her daughters became involved in the Christian Community in East London (to which the Angelina Street Mission was affiliated) following the death of her husband Edward Meachen, a London docker. The location is identified on the back of the original photograph
