Administrative / Biographical History

Charles Mills was born September 1898 at Mountain Row, Aberavon. He later moved to Mountain Terrace. In 1912 Charles started work at Port Talbot Steel Co. Ltd, Pit Road as a Casting Boy and remained there until 1961. From 1961 to 1965 he worked as a labourer at Abbey Melting Shop. Charles married Ethel Thomas at Holy Cross Church in 1930
