Recording names of officers, divisional representatives, resolutions, lists of elected officers, statements of receipts, expenditure and balance sheet for 1914, and lists of members receiving sick pay (by division). The names of members and divisions show that the Grand Division covered the area around Merthyr Tydfil and the Cynon valley extending to Rhondda and Beaufort, co. Monmouth

Grand Division of the Sons of Temperance were established in 1858 in Merthyr Tydfil.
